About AnidasoCare

Anidaso means hope

We believe that people living with cancer deserve to be comfortable, to be cared for with dignity and to spend their time at home with the people they love.

Why we exist

Bringing palliative care home

Many people with cancer in Ghana go home from hospital with pain and other symptoms that are hard to manage, and with families who want to help but are not sure how. Travelling back to hospital can be exhausting, costly and sometimes impossible.

AnidasoCare brings palliative care to the patient. Our nurses visit people at home, palliative care specialists lead their care, and partner hospitals stay involved. Every visit, care plan and concern is recorded on one secure platform, so nothing is lost between home and hospital.

The AnidasoCare mark: a roof, two cupped hands and a rising sun

Our logo

A roof, because care happens in the patient’s home. Two cupped hands: the team holding the patient and family. And a rising sun, for hope and comfort, in the warm gold of the Ghanaian sun.

How we work

What we stand for

Comfort and dignity

We put the patient’s comfort and wishes at the centre of every decision.

Families as partners

Families do most of the caring at home. We support them, listen to them and keep them informed.

Working with hospitals

We continue the care that hospital teams begin, and keep them involved with the patient’s consent.

Honesty and privacy

We are clear about what we can and cannot do, and we guard every patient’s information carefully.

What we do not do

Clear about our limits

  • We are not an emergency service. Emergencies need the hospital or an ambulance.
  • Our platform does not make diagnoses or prescribe medicines. Those decisions are made by qualified clinicians.
  • We do not replace your hospital team. We work alongside them.
